Our Ethos
Du Feu Dance aims to inspire and develop students in their chosen dance genre but most of all ensure they have fun and learn in a supportive atmosphere. We are proud to have qualified teachers who are approachable and have a passion for dance and passing on their knowledge through their classes.
We strive to motivate our students, build confidence, improve posture and grow creativity.
We believe that as long as your children are having fun, enjoying their dancing and all that dance has to offer, the next generation of dancers will inspire themselves.
Cecchetti and ISTD Methods
We follow the Cecchetti Method of Classical Ballet for all of our ballet training and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing method for our modern and tap training. These syllabi provide a goal to work towards by the completion of each level, and progression through these levels enables the students to obtain a complete training of their chosen genre. Examinations are offered to all students and are encouraged, however are non-compulsory.
